Modern Warfare 3: How to fix low FPS issues.

Very often in the game you encounter various kinds of problems, MW3 is no exception. Sometimes you may experience FPS drop in Modern Warfare 3 . Such situations arise for various reasons.

Warzone may default to the Borderless Fullscreen setting, which can cause all sorts of problems such as low FPS, input lag, and lag, so make sure you’re using  Fullscreen .

Making sure you have the latest graphics card drivers can solve a lot of problems (including crashes), but it can sometimes have the opposite effect on games like Warzone. If you have low FPS and other problems, try  rolling back your drivers  to a previous version.

Warzone players are reporting mixed results with the GPU scheduling hardware acceleration feature, where players are seeing results from turning it on and off. It’s disabled by default, so you can  try enabling hardware accelerated GPU scheduling  and see if it solves your problems. If you already have it enabled, try disabling it and see if there is an improvement.

  1. Right-click on the desktop.
  2. Select  Display Settings  .
  3. Scroll down to  Graphics Settings  and click on it.
  4. Enable or disable hardware accelerated GPU scheduling.
  5. Restart your computer.

Warzone uses NVIDIA DLSS, an upscaling technology that runs the game at a lower resolution but gives the appearance of a higher resolution, increasing FPS. If your FPS is lower than it should be, you can experiment with NVIDIA DLSS. Your game won’t look as sharp as usual, but it may be a worthwhile sacrifice to improve performance.

If you have DLSS enabled and are having problems, try disabling it or switching to another method, such as AMD FSR 1.0.

If Warzone’s framerate is significantly lower than other games with similar requirements, we recommend  running a scan and repair  to find and fix any issues with the game files.

Back in Warzone, players would sometimes experience extremely low FPS early in matches, causing the game to look like a slideshow when jumping from a plane, and the fix was  to enable weapon motion blur. While this setting may take some time to get used to, it can completely fix low FPS and stuttering early in matches, and may even give you a nice framerate boost.

This is a last resort and we hope you don’t need it, but if scanning and repairing Warzone doesn’t help, we recommend  completely reinstalling the game .
