Despite many improvements and nerfs affecting the vast arsenal of weapons, Rival 9 continues to hold its place among the best guns and weapons.
The Rival-9 may not have enough firepower to hold its own against an assault rifle, but its superior melee stats are guaranteed to net plenty of kills throughout the match.

Purifier Muzzle Brake S and Clearshot Rival-C Barrel – This combination works in tandem to significantly increase the SMG’s recoil control, aim stability and bullet speed, but will slightly reduce movement speed. To remedy this we’re picking the DR-6 Handstop , which will greatly increase your ADS and aiming speed while walking, as well as improving your shooting and movement speed. The Rival Vice Assault Grip will further improve recoil control and aim stability, and the 40-round magazine will be a useful addition. As for an alternative approach, feel free to experiment with a heavier 50- or 60-round drum, but be prepared to lose portability and reload speed.
The Semtex will allow you to deal heavy damage to enemies, and the Flash Grenade will allow you to swoop in for an easy kill after disorienting an enemy.
The best thing about the Rival 9 is its light weight, which allows you to quickly clear any terrain suitable for close-range combat.
