Las Almas Warzone 2 Map: Release Date Leaked
Leaks have revealed that Warzone 2 will be getting a brand new battle royale map called Las Almas, which should change the pace from Al Mazra.
On May 11, a major leak revealed that CoD 2023 would be called Modern Warfare 3, but it also shed light on a new Warzone 2 map called Las Almas. This happened shortly after data miners discovered the Vondel Resurgence card, which is expected to appear in the future.
According to a leak from Insider Gaming , Las Almas Warzone 2 will launch in Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 , which will reportedly start on December 5, 2023 . This will be just under a month after MW3’s supposed release date, which the leak claimed was November 10th. Of course, this is all based on leaked information that the developers themselves haven’t yet confirmed, so there’s every chance the schedule could change. We’ll be sure to update this section with any details as they become known.
We first learned about the Las Almas battle royale map for Warzone 2 during the Modern Warfare 2 campaign . The El Sin Nombre mission took place in the Mexican region of Las Almas, and the players quickly found a map of the area lying on the table. Many have speculated that it usually looks like a battle royale map that would be suitable for Warzone 2, and a leak from Insider Gaming seems to confirm that it will be a sequel to Al Mazrah.
The map of Las Almas, found in the MW2 campaign, had many settlements, mountainous areas, and even rivers to make it easier to navigate. Only time will tell if the developers are sticking to the same layout or if the design has changed based on feedback from Warzone 2.
Since Las Almas in Warzone 2 has not yet been officially introduced, we do not currently have any of the POIs or locations set to appear on the map. However, since the action takes place in the same Mexican region, it’s safe to assume that the Mercado Las Almas map from Modern Warfare 2 will be one section.
Developers love to incorporate old-school CoD maps into their battle royale designs, so fans can expect to see more familiar locations around Las Almas.
