How to Test Blueprints in Warzone and the MW2 Proving Ground

The developers  of Modern Warfare 2  and Warzone have added a new feature that allows you to bring a blueprint for a weapon you don’t own to the range to try it out before you buy it.

To test a weapon blueprint in Warzone and Modern Warfare 2’s range, simply go to the store, hover over the blueprint you want to test, and follow the prompts to take the weapon to the range.

  1. Launch Warzone or Modern Warfare 2.
  2. Go to the “Shop” tab and select a package.
  3. Hover over the weapon blueprint you want to test.
  4. Follow the instructions to bring the blueprint to the landfill.

However, it appears that this feature is only available to select players, and there doesn’t seem to be a clear reason why some players have it and others don’t. While this feature was available to some before the July 24th update, it looks like it has been made available to more players with the patch.

While Armor Plates were added to the Reloaded Season 4 Proving Ground, the devs never announced Blueprint testing, so it’s possible they’re doing a gradual rollout as bugs are fixed, so be sure to check out the store to see if the feature has made it to your store.
