How to Make One-Shot with Warzone 2 Sniper Rifles
To be able to one-shot enemies with a sniper rifle in Warzone 2, you need to equip your weapon with explosive ammunition and headshot.
Explosive ammo gives each sniper the damage boost they need to pierce a fully armored enemy and knock them down with a single headshot. However, it also has some drawbacks, including loss of bullet velocity, making shots less accurate at longer ranges.
As mentioned in the blog post, single-shot capabilities were only granted to heavier bolt-action rifles. At the time of writing, four sniper rifles have explosive ammunition as an option; MCPR-300, Victus XMR, Signal 50 and the new Intervention, aka FJX Imperium.
This means that for now, light sniper or marksman rifles like the SP-X 80 or EBR-14 will still require at least two shots to completely knock the player down.
If you want to make the most of their new features, here are the best single-shot sniper rifles currently available in Warzone 2
