How to get the Golden Skull in Warzone 2 DMZ
The third season of Warzone 2 brought a ton of content to the battle royale, but the ever-popular DMZ has also received its fair share of new additions. Fans of the Tarkov-inspired regime saw the emergence of the controversial skeleton keys, as well as the new barter system.
The Seasonal Update also introduced the new Redacted faction as well as a host of missions to complete for them. The first level Dealmaker mission asks players to deliver a number of different items, including the ultra-rare Golden Skull.
There is no guaranteed location in the Warzone 2 DMZ where the Golden Skull can be found, instead players will have to hope to find it when searching for loot. That being said, there are a number of places and methods with significantly higher chances of finding the Golden Skull.
Defeat bosses
Many DMZ bosses, such as the Scavenger, Bombmaker, and Pyro, drop much rarer loot than normal enemies, meaning that the chances of a Golden Skull drop are much higher. Just hunt down one of them, cut down on his massive health bar, and cross your fingers.
While this is possibly the best chance to earn the Golden Skull, it is also one of the hardest as these powerful enemies can quickly wipe out your squad if you’re not ready.
Sava Hotel
If you don’t want to risk your hand against the boss, the Sawah Hotel also has a good chance of containing the Golden Skull. Rooms 302 and 303 on the top floor are full of loot stashes, however you’ll need a Skeleton Key to enter, so be sure to craft it ahead of time.
Again, there is no guarantee that the Golden Skull will appear among all the items in any room, but if luck is not on your side, there is always the option to banish and try again in another match.
Police Stations
One of the other places in Al Masra where the Golden Skull is likely to be is the Police Stations, and there are different locations that you can check on the map. Check out where to find them below:
- Southeast of Al Sa’id Mall.
- Northwestern part of the city of Al-Mazra.
- On the east side of the Mavizeh swamps.
It’s worth remembering that police stations are strongholds in Warzone 2’s DMZ, so you’ll encounter a lot of resistance from AI enemies. However, once cleaned, they become an ideal place to hunt the Golden Skulls.
