Event Trophy Hunt Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2
The Trophy Hunt event began in both Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 on Friday, April 14, 2023 .
Although the Season 3 update went live on April 12, the official blog reported that Trophy Hunt would begin “48 hours after launch”, meaning players would have all weekend to start grinding.
According to the in-game menu, players will have 25 days to participate in the Trophy Hunt event. As soon as the opening event comes to an end, the new camo challenges of the event will take over the trophy hunt.
During the Trophy Hunt event, each “unique player killed” in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare will drop a trophy that can then be collected – similar to the tag in a confirmed kill. They can also be collected from defeated AI enemies in Warzone 2 and the DMZ , and picked up from the ground as normal loot.
In Battle Royale and DMZ games, trophies must be saved manually at a loading station or by securing a win or a successful retrieval. Multiplayer fans have it a bit easier as their trophies are safe while they finish the match.
Failure to meet any of these conditions will result in the loss of all trophies collected in this match, so make sure you do your best to keep them safe.
These “small decorative challenge coins” drop in all modes of both games and can be exchanged for valuable rewards after the match ends.
Once players have collected enough trophies, they can be exchanged for rewards by going to the Events tab in the Warzone 2 or Modern Warfare 2 menu.

- Valeria’s Stare loading screen: 30 trophies
- Bleeding weapon sticker: 30 trophies
- Plan Form Loading Screen: 30 Trophies
- Trophy Hunter Talisman: 30 Trophies
- Track and kill weapon screen: 60 trophies
- Venom Strike Assault Rifle Blueprint: 150 Trophies
- Trophy Master Calling Card: 1000 Trophies
- Skin Roze : Buy any ten items.
- Konig Skin : Buy any 15 items
The final row of rewards is currently hidden, but they will be revealed on April 26, so stay tuned.
Loyal players who earn enough rewards throughout the event will also receive exclusive Operator skins for their efforts. The Mastery 1 Challenge will reward players with the Roze Skin, while the Mastery 2 Challenge will reward players with the Konig Skin.
