DMZ patch notes for Warzone 2 Season 4.

Season 4 of Warzone 2 is expected to release on June 14th, and for now, players are focusing on new weapons and the all-new Vondel map.

In addition to the updated look, players will also get a new Forward Operating Base feature. FOB will act as a new menu section where players can keep track of objectives that will lead to new DMZ updates .

The new DMZ menu will include the following sections:

  • Mission objectives (mission selection)
  • Location objectives (map issues)
  • Forward Operating Base (upgrade goals)
  • Notes (compilation)

The developers explained their desire to revise the DMZ menu: “We believe that the new update infrastructure will remove the friction we felt between Operators and high-level mission objectives. For example, instead of progressing a faction’s mission, it is now possible to unlock insured weapon slots via passive targets in the FOB.” You’ll also find the long-awaited wallet feature in the Stash section of the FOB. The new DMZ Wallet feature “provides the ability to withdraw and store cash outside of the world.” In Season 4, players will be able to keep the money they used to steal and potentially use it for another infiltration.

Vondel is the new DMZ Exclusion Zone in Season 4  , and the new map will have 18 Operators at one time. Vondel is smaller than Al Mazra and somewhat larger than Asika Island.

Players will unlock an exclusive DMZ contract called  Signal Intelligence  , which will allow operators to hack phones and access contract rewards nearby.

In addition, dynamic weather will appear with Vondel as DMZ players discover a new location. This new feature will appear in the form of  fog  caused by Vondel’s location below sea level. Fog may impair player visibility in Season 4 DMZ.

Phalanx is a new DMZ faction  that will debut in Warzone 2 Season 4. The Season 4 DMZ Blog has redacted much of the information about the new faction, but we know that “Phalanx and Black Mous will be doing missions together.”

Faction mission progress and DMZ inventory  will be reset at the start of Warzone 2 Season 4.
