Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer beta
The Modern Warfare 3 beta will be available on PlayStation, Xbox and PC platforms.
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Open Beta is your chance to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and provide feedback to help ensure you have the best experience on Day 1 of launch on November 10th.
PlayStation players will get exclusive first access to the Modern Warfare 3 beta. After the early access period for PlayStation players, the Modern Warfare 3 beta will be available to players on all platforms.
- October 6-7: MW3 Beta Early Access on PlayStation.
- October 8-10: MW3 open beta for PlayStation.
- October 12-13: MW 3 Beta, Xbox and PC Early Access + PlayStation Open Beta.
- October 14-16: MW3 open beta on all platforms.
Beta testing periods will begin and end at 10:00 AM PT / 1:00 PM ET / 6:00 PM UK on the respective dates above.
Modern Warfare 3 players will be able to access the new game earlier thanks to the beta testing period, which is available to everyone. However, if you have the beta code, you will be able to upgrade to the MW3 beta sooner .
The recommended way to get a beta code for MW3 is to pre-order the game. If you select a digital copy of MW3, PlayStation and Xbox players will automatically be registered for the beta. Those who prefer a physical copy will receive an MW3 beta activation code.
PlayStation Plus is not required to play on PlayStation. For Xbox, Xbox Game Pass Core is only required during the Xbox Early Access period and is not required during the Xbox Open Beta period. Meanwhile, PC players require a Battle Net or Steam account.
