Modern Warfare 3: Season 6 Release Date.
Activision and Sledgehammer Games have announced the start date for the sixth season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The sixth season will be released on September 18, 2024.
This patch will not only add all Season 6 content, but will also remove all Black Ops 6 beta files to free up disk space.
As usual, MW3 and Warzone seasonal updates are expected to bring new weapons, a fresh Battle Pass, multiplayer modes, maps, and more, and Season 6 will be no different. Season 6 of Modern Warfare 3 will introduce two new weapons – the DTIR 30-06 assault rifle and the Kastov LSW light machine gun.
Season 6 marks the return of the Ghost event to Warzone, and the multiplayer will also receive a host of Halloween-themed modes.
Mutation Mode returns in Season 6, which takes place across a variety of modes and splits players into teams of regular operators and mutants.
The Haunting wouldn’t be a game without the Infected, and the fan-favorite modes are returning in Season 6. As always, one player will be chosen to start the game as the Infected, and will have to use their melee weapons and throwing knives to eliminate the survivors.
Players can look forward to a new 6v6 core map called Drive Thru . This relatively small map is based on Funny’s Fried Fun, a clown-themed restaurant that’s even more disturbing than its grim surroundings.
MW3 Season 6 will feature four unique events:
- Ghost (September 18 – October 16)
- The Walking Dead: Road to Final Destination (September 25 – October 2)
- Trick or Treat: Candy Hunt (October 2 – October 16)
- MWIII Rewind (October 9 – October 16)
