The TR-76 Geist is an assault rifle that goes unnoticed by most Warzone players . Despite the high damage, the weapon is not used very often by players.
This assault rifle started to gain popularity towards the end of Season 2, but all the upgrades have made it a force to be reckoned with on both Urzisktan and Rebirth Island thanks to its impressive TTK.
Call of Duty expert WhosImmortal agreed with this opinion, and released a video on YouTube , where he disassembled the TTK of all meta-assault rifles in Warzone.
He found that only the BP50 could match his TTK at close range, but the TR-76 Geist soon leaves it behind once you reach the 15 to 25 meter mark as it can drop a fully armored enemy in 650 to 700ms . In this case, it remains competitive in the mid-range, matching and in some cases outperforming favorites such as the RAM-7 and STB 556.
With this in mind, the TR-76 Geist is most effective at close to mid-range in Warzone. Its “crazy” TTK of up to 35 meters makes it an ideal partner for long-range weapons such as a light machine gun or a sniper rifle.
In my experience, the only downside is that it falls off a bit when it comes to long-range firefights. If you want to use it as your main weapon to take down enemies, then the BP50 or Holger 556 are better options.
