50 Cent in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Curtis James Jackson III is an American rapper, actor, writer, boxing promoter, and producer, known by his stage name 50 Cent. Fame came to him with the release of the albums  Get Rich or Die Tryin’  and  The Massacre . 50 Cent achieved success with both albums, selling over 40 million copies worldwide.

For the Modern Warfare 2 ad campaign,   Eminem re-performed the song ‘Till I Collapse, which won a Grammy in 2002 as part of The Eminem Show. The remastered track played in the release trailer and its digital sales immediately jumped. Another rapper, 50 Cen, came to the Infinity Ward office to record lines for characters from online modes. By this, he was five years ahead of Snoop Dogg, whose DLC with replicas (“Don’t stop. Cap ’em and shank ’em!”) Can be bought for three dollars on Xbox Live.
