August 30, 2023: Warzone 2 Season 5 Reboot
The developers have a lot more content in store for Season 5, and the Mid-Season Update will be another huge content release that players are looking forward to.
There is no official release date for Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded at the moment, but we expect it to release on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 .
In past seasons of Warzone, the duration was usually around seven weeks, with the Reboot update usually coming in the middle. Given that Warzone 2 Season 5 kicked off on August 2nd, it makes sense to release the mid-season patch in four weeks.
However, these are just speculations at the moment, so we’ll be sure to update this section as soon as more details are announced.
Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded is gearing up to introduce new modes that will include the integration of the new Resurgence map into the rotation and the exciting return of a beloved mode from the original Warzone.
Fort spawn mode
The new “Rise of the Fort” mode will feature a new map combining Vondel and Asika Island as battlegrounds for the lesser mode . According to the blog, this map will be “part of Al-Mazra”, with “Al-Bagra fortress and its surroundings” divided into a separate map.
Armored Royale is a time-limited mode where two teams must protect their MRAP vehicle and prevent it from being destroyed . This mode was originally introduced in the first version of Call of Duty: Warzone (2020).
It is expected that after the initial version of this mode, players on both teams will be able to upgrade their MRAP, increasing its defense and restoring health. In addition, several repair stations will be located on the map, providing slow, but free and unlimited car repairs.
As long as the MRAP remains intact during the match, players will be able to re-deploy after a kill, but they will have to wait for a 20 second timer. This redeployment must be available throughout the match.
On August 24, Call of Duty officially announced that legendary Tomb Raider protagonist Lara Croft will be joining Warzone 2 as an Operator, with her debut expected to take place during the Season 5 Reloaded update.
The gaming icon is expected to have a bundle of its own that can be purchased from the store, as happened with the Operators’ bundles of other previous celebrities such as Snoop Dogg and Nicki Minaj.
According to the blog, Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded will feature a new melee weapon – the Pickaxe, SMG and Pistol following the introduction of the Carrack .300 and FR Avancer at the start of the season, as well as the M13C Assault Rifle with the MW3 event . .
While exact dates have yet to be revealed, these weapons are expected to arrive during Season 5 of Reloaded, just like previous seasons.
